FreeG (Freestyle)

Freerunning combines traditional gymnastics and acrobatic tricks, with kicks and leaps made famous through martial arts. There are no rules or competitions – you pick the tricks you want to learn and our coaches will work with you to develop your skills!

These classes are relaxed, social and suitable for older kids and teens who do not want the structure of traditional gymnastics. They include elements of body strengthening, agility, apparatus work and skills - to enable young people to develop their physical abilities and skill repertoire. Classes run from VGA Crumlin, Cwmbran Stadium and St Tydfils Gymnastics in Merthyr. You can register for one of these sessions via our waiting lists - and we will be in touch asap when we can offer you a weekly space. These sessions are fully inclusive - please contact us for more information.

We also run an ‘Open Gym’ session on a Sunday evening 7.30-9.00pm at VGA Crumlin - which is open to anyone age 13+ who would like to practice / develop their freerunning and gymnastics skills. This session requires no pre-booking but we would recommend ringing in advance before attending for the first time (01495 248070).
